In October 2011 NEBO Inc. contracted Hotzone Solutions to provide a CBRN Basic Awareness Course for the Rescue Police in Dubai. HZS staff instructed more than 40 students on CBRN threats and how to deal with a variety of potential terrorist incidents using their own equipment and procedures.

This three weeks course also allowed HZS staff to successfully apply their own procedures and simulants under difficult meteorological conditions (+40 degrees Celsius).

This course covered mainly the following topics:

- CBRN Threat
- Donning and doffing procedures using Dubai Police equipment
- CWA detection with HZS simulants (which proved again their efficiency with point handle detector such as AP4C and detection paper)
- Individual & Mass Decontamination procedures
- Medical countermeasures

The course successfully concluded with a final field exercise based on realistic scenario, covering all of the course contents.
