Prerequisites:
Individual and group based training

Minimum of 30 hours of basic training in radiation protection (Basic Training as per the Austrian Norm on Radiation Training of Intervention Personnel in case of Radiological Emergency Situations ÖNORM S 5207: 30 hours)
Assessment: In line with the Austrian Norm on Radiation Training of Intervention Personnel in case of Radiological Emergency Situations ÖNORM S 5207
Dates for 2012:

Course 1: 21 - 25 May
Course 2: 18 - 22 June
Course 3: 23 - 27 July
Course 4: 30 July - 03 August
Course 5: 03 - 07 September
Course 6: 24 - 28 September.

Practical exercises in the exclusion zone will familiarize all participants with the consequence management of nuclear accidents.
All trainings will be run in line with approved EU and IAEA radiation safety standards.
