Hotzone Solutions (HZS) successfully completed its first "in house" NDE training course on the premises of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague, The Netherlands.

Over a period of six weeks, HZS trained new NDE specialists from OPCW, using different NDE methods.

From November 1st to December 10th 2010, at OPCW’s headquarters, HZS consultants delivered an NDE certified training course to OPCW inspectors. The aim was to give OPCW’s new NDE specialists an opportunity to practice and improve their technical skills and theoretical knowledge.

The following methods were trained:

• Radiography (X-RAY);
• Ultrasonic testing (UPE);
• Hydrogen concentration measurement (HCM).

The delivery of the course was successful and OPCW’s NDE specialists were certified in alignment with international standards.

HZS is very proud to have been chosen again by OPCW for its NDE expertise, and for the fact that all the objectives and expectations were met. HZS is now planning for its 2011 training schedule, which will include, among others, new cooperation agreements with the OPCW, the point of reference in the CBRNe world.
